Orange County Industrial Facility Benefits From Cogeneration Plant
CEC contracted with Houston Energy Services Corporation (HESCOGEN) to provide a Cogeneration plant in the heart of Orange County.
Cytec Fiberite, the host customer, required lower electricity cost, more reliable power supply, and an updated chilled water distribution system with future expansion capabilities. HESCOGEN as owner of the project afforded CEC flexibility and measured creativity to execute the permitting, design, procurement, construction and startup of the plant.
The construction contract was executed in November of 2002 and operational in May 2003, prior to summer peak season.
CEC provided long term operations and maintenance of the Cogeneration plant with our Deutz factory certified technicians, who provided all maintenance of the engines and balance of plant equipment
