TYPE OF PROGRAM
The High-Efficiency Electric Home Rebate (HEEHR) Program is a formula funding program that provides funding to federally recognized Tribes to establish rebate programs that help eligible households install high-efficiency electric appliances and complete home electrification upgrades.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
Increase adoption of high-efficiency electric appliances and equipment.
Reduce household energy costs through home electrification.
Improve residential energy efficiency.
Expand access to clean energy technologies for low- and moderate-income households.
Support state and Tribal implementation of equitable rebate programs.
WHAT CAN YOU USE IT FOR?
Eligible rebate programs may provide funding for:
Heat pump space heating and cooling systems
Heat pump water heaters
Electric stoves, cooktops, ranges, and ovens
Heat pump clothes dryers
Electrical panel upgrades
Electrical wiring
Insulation, air sealing, and mechanical ventilation improvements
Electric load service center upgrades necessary to support electrification
