WHAT IS IT?

The Seed Grant funds early-stage projects with broad community impact, providing support for planning, collaboration, and capacity-building.


ONE-YEAR GRANTS UP TO

$10,000

WITH A 25% COST-MATCH (CASH OR IN-KIND).


ROLLING DEADLINES

Applications due on the 1st of each month, with decisions made the following month.


WHO MANAGES IT?

The Rotary Club of Traverse City is part of Rotary International, a globally recognized organization dedicated to humanitarian service and community development.


WHY DOES IT MATTER?

Seed Grants provide early-stage funding for planning, convening, and capacity-building efforts, laying the groundwork for larger initiatives and future funding.


ELIGIBLE PROJECTS INCLUDE:

  • Stakeholder convening to assess community needs • Planning high-priority projects for long-term impact

  • Feasibility studies, market analyses, and assessments

  • Piloting new strategies and coordinating with partners

  • Strengthening organizations, networks, and partnerships

  • Facilitating collaboration on complex challenges

  • Building adaptability to respond to evolving conditions
