WHAT CAN YOU USE IT FOR?
Fund projects to assess, evaluate, and promote energy and mineral resources on Indian land, including:
Conduct resource inventories and assessments for energy and minerals.
Perform feasibility studies, design engineering, market analyses, or economic testing, sampling or initial resource exploration.
Support pre-development activities like baseline studies, testing, sampling, or initial resource exploration.
Promote Tribal self-determination through sustainable energy and mineral projects.
Develop Tribal capacity for energy and mineral resource management.

Award Range: $10,000 to $2,500,000
Project Timeline: 12 months, starting upon award
Cost Share: None required
Number of Awards: Approximately 10 to 100 grants
