Colusa Indian Community

This island-mode microgrid is owned by the Colusa Indian Community and is operated by its own Tribal Utility Authority. The Tribe commissioned the system in 2005.

Aquarium of the Pacific

CEC was contracted in April 2002 to provide a turnkey Tri-Generation plant to the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific (AOTP) site.

The California Natural Products Corporation is a company that committed to a long term reduction in it’s electricity cost by contracting with CEC to provide a turnkey on-site Cogeneration facility.

Cytec Fiberite

CEC contracted with Houston Energy Services Corporation (HESCOGEN) to provide a Cogeneration plant in the heart of Orange County.

Nestle waters

CEC contracted with Nestle Waters North America to construct a 5 MW Cogeneration plant. The 5 MW Cogeneration facility was designed to operate as a base load electric generation plant in parallel with the utility and to produce 900 tons of 42 degree chilled water

Red Bluff Generation

Red Bluff, California is the site of our largest project, a 44 MW peaker plant for PG&E. This is one of two like it in the state, each having 16 Wartsila reciprocating engines producing electricity for the IOU.
